ABOUT THE COURSE

JMB is pioneer in introducing Drawing & painting course in Pilibhit region also at under graduate & post graduate level. Post graduate course of MA drawing & painting is including Disciplines of Advanced Composition, Life study, Landscape Painting at spot, Sculpture art, Land Portrait etc in having 2 years of duration. The curriculum also contain concept of Art, Painting of Indian History, Painting of Western Painting, Philosophy and aesthetics of Indian painting etc in theory part. The Faculty members and students regularly organize exhibitions of their art in JMB and in national art galleries. Department is organizing seminars, print making workshops, Fresco & Pottery Workshops, Sculpture Workshops & demonstration regularly experts of the field.

Career after M.A. Drawing painting

The degree of M.A. Drawing has eligibility of LT grade recruitment for Drawing Painting subject without B.Ed degree especially for TGT in many states such as Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand. Drawing Painting subject is very common and popular in almost all colleges therefore chances of sufficient recruitment of government vacancies is higher.

Master degree course is beneficial for those students who want to make a career in Sketching, Drawing and Painting. MA Drawing serves as a basis for further higher studies in this field such as Ph.D. and M.Phil. They also become teachers in the school and lecturer in colleges/universities after taking further education.

ELIGIBILITY

50 % (45% for SC & ST) in Graduation (Drawing)

ADMISSION PROCESS

Direct admission will be done at the college based on Personal Interview and merit of the student at graduate level or as per the guidelines set by the MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly.
