ABOUT THE COURSE

J.M.B. Institute offers a Master of Arts course in Home science. The multidisciplinary Home Science is both an art and a science; it is a mélange of the disciplines of family life, foods, clothing, resource management and extension.

The post graduate course contains advanced training on all the aspects of Home Science with emphasis on practical knowledge. J.B.M. Institute stresses on the applications of information to evolve students into efficient professionals and researchers.

The curriculum and syllabus, as designed by M.J.P. Rohilkhand university aims at overall development of the students making them ready for future challenges.

WHY THIS COURSE

After attaining a degree of M.A. Home Science, the students can pursue a doctoral degree in their area of expertise with research exposure. Teaching opportunities are always open for post graduate students qualifying NET/SET/TET, B.Ed. or B.T.C. /Home Science professionals may seek job opportunities in various government or non-government projects or organizations that aim on community development and social upliftment.

ELIGIBILITY

Graduation with 45% marks in Home Science.

ADMISSION PROCESS

Direct admission will be done at the college based on Personal Interview and merit of the student at 10+2 level or as per the guidelines set by the MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly.
