About Course

Why Geography

The Geography MA is a highly individualized degree. Students work closely with their chosen advisors to design and complete their program. Students in our department can pursue programs in physical geography, Human Geography, Cartography and geographic information science. If upon completing the MA program, they would be required to apply to the Ph.D. program. It also includes study of factors such as Physical features, Climate, Soils, Vegetation, Population, Land use and industries in all over world and their regional differentiation.

ELIGIBILITY

Graduation with 45% marks & Geography in final year as compulsory subject. (40% for SC/ST candidates)

ADMISSION PROCESS

Direct admission will be done at college based on personal interview and merit of the student in graduation as per the guidelines set by the MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly.
