ABOUT THE COURSE

JMB is pioneer institute in the district for M.Sc Botany degree programme. It is a two year full time course affiliated to MJP Rohilkhand University.

The post graduation Course work comprises of lectures, laboratory procedures, field surveys and educational excursion. This course provides a comprehensive training in identification of flora (Algae, Fungi, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, Gymonsperm, Angiosperm) cell biology, anatomical and morphological features, plant pathology with special reference to Indian ecology and environment.

WHY THIS COURSE

Possible opportunities that open up after post graduation are in the fields of botanical survey, farm management, cellular physiology of plants, eco-botany, floriculture, horticulture, biotechnology and environmental management.

ELIGIBILITY

B.Sc with 45% marks & Botany in final year as compulsory subjects. (40% for SC/ST candidates)

ADMISSION PROCESS

Admission through MJP Rohilkhand University entrance examination (qualified / appeared).
